Educational Qualification : Degree in Civil/Agriculture Engineering with 4-5 years of field experience in designing and implementation of Water Resource Development (Irrigation & Soil Water Conservation) Projects, Watershed Development, Drinking Water etc.

Desirables
Good Communication & Documentation skills
Good knowledge of Marathi, English & Hindi
Computer knowledge in MS Office,

Project Location :To be based at Mul/Pombhurna block of Chandrapur Maharashtra

Job Profile

1. Need to have good experience of working on a fairly large and Intensive irrigation development program/project with hands on experience of designing & implementing various types of irrigation projects for smallholder farmers. The candidate must also have experience and understanding of implementing such project in close partnership with community organizations and their members.
2. Develop comprehensive irrigation development plans for each village and hamlets as per identified prototypes. Suggests technical solutions to ensure access to irrigation to the community in different conditions in the project cluster.
3. Develop technical design, cost- estimate, and utilization plan of identified irrigation schemes.
4. Ensure proper implementation of schemes by closely working with community, CBOs and field staff.
5. Undertake regular field level monitoring to ensure quality of works as per plan.
6. Build the capacities of CBOs, community leaders, Community Resource Persons (CRPs) and CInI field staff in planning and implementing WRD interventions.
7. Undertaken Cluster development work as defined by the project.
8. Ensure /support in developing team plans, regular reporting and MIS.
9. Support in implementation of other thematic interventions like – Agriculture, Livestock and Institution building etc.
