About Splash

Splash's mission is simple: To change the lives of vulnerable children in impoverished urban areas by providing clean, safe drinking water to orphanages, schools, children’s hospitals, street shelters, and rescue homes.

The idea behind Splash is not to create new institutions‚ÄĒbut to help existing ones get even better.

Splash in India

We are very recent arrivals in India but we are excited to be joining a movement of people committed to the same cause ‚Äď clean water for kids. India represents the ultimate convergence of Splash‚Äôs focus areas: a high population of children living in urban areas and exposed to the risks of unsafe water supplies, improper sanitation and poor hygiene. It is also a country of incredible opportunity, ingenuity and full of people deeply committed to seeing children reach their full potential.

Splash is in the early stages of establishing operations in India and is currently in the process of registering the organization and hiring staff. Phase I operations will be focused on establishing a WASH in Schools program in Kolkata. Phase II will begin to explore and develop opportunities to serve more children in other cities throughout the country.
