Research Associate/Associate Fellow(GHG&ESG) - TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute)

Job Description:

• Conduct research and analysis on GHG inventory methodologies and reporting frameworks.

• Support projects related to ESG assessments and sustainability metrics.

• Contribute to studies on low-carbon pathways for various sectors including industry and energy.

• Assist in policy analysis and development of recommendations for industrial and technology policy.

• Prepare research reports, policy briefs, and presentations for stakeholders.

• Engage with government agencies, industry representatives, and academic institutions.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within TERI and external partners.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience:

• Master-s degree in Climate Policy- Engineering- Economics- Science & Technology Policy- Management- or Data Science.

• Strong communication skills in English and Hindi.

• Aptitude for learning and interdisciplinary research.

• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Experience

• 0 - 4 Years

Skills

• Ph.D. in a relevant field or currently pursuing.

• Experience (up to 4 years) in climate policy research (mitigation)- GHG inventory- ESG analysis- and technology policy.

• Familiarity with national and international climate policy frameworks
