About the Organization:
Mahila Abhivruddhi Society (APMAS), a national resource organization, incorporated in 2001 as a Not-for-Profit Organization (NGO), is providing capacity building and technical support to SHGs and Federations in rural and urban areas. APMAS has been implementing various projects to promote and strengthen people’s institutions for livelihoods enhancement, climate-smart agriculture, livestock management, women’s enterprises, value chain development, and health and nutrition.
Job Description:
The position is responsible for field implementation, supporting farmer institutions, ensuring convergence with government schemes, and monitoring and reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate the implementation of project activities in the assigned clusters
Facilitate capacity building of CRPs, lead farmers and other farmers on natural farming and water conservation
Support landscape planning using ePRA, community participation and appraisal
Monitor progress, document case studies, and prepare monthly progress reports
Mobilize and mentor farmers on NF, water security and climate resilience
Convergence with other ecosystem players
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Natural Resource Management, or allied fields
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in field-based project implementation, preferably in agroecology / Natural Farming / Natural Resource Management projects
Strong facilitation, coordination, and documentation skills
Fluency in Telugu and proficiency in English
Familiarity with participatory tools (e.g., PRA, ePRA) and institution strengthening is desirable
