Field Officer / Project Officer

Eligibility:

MSc in Biodiversity Conservation/ Sustainable Development / Natural Resource Management/ Environmental Science/ Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Botany/ Forestry

Job Description:


Experience in ecological research and community engagement within conservation landscapes
Passionate about wildlife conservation and a strong commitment to fostering human-wildlife coexistence
Skilled in field-based ecological research that integrates socio-economic considerations and uses relevant software tools
Report writing and communication skills in English, with fluency in spoken Hindi


Requirements:
Implement field-based initiatives to promote coexistence between local communities and wildlife
Identify gaps and evaluate existing measures through stakeholder meetings and consultations
Conduct field surveys of communities, flora, and fauna
Prepare project documents, including proposals, progress reports, and publications
Support community engagement activities, such as school awareness, outreach initiatives, and more

Senior Project Officer:


Eligibility: MSc in Biodiversity Conservation/ Sustainable Development / Natural Resource Management/ Environmental Science/ Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Botany/ Forestry
Job Description:
Experience in ecological research and community engagement within conservation landscapes
Passionate about wildlife conservation and a strong commitment to fostering human-wildlife coexistence
Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities, with experience in coordinating field teams
Skilled in field-based ecological research that integrates socio-economic considerations, and uses relevant software tools for ecological and social data analysis
Excellent report writing and communication skills in English, with fluency in spoken Hindi

Requirements:
Implement field-based initiatives to promote coexistence between local communities and wildlife
Identify gaps and evaluate existing measures for human-wildlife coexistence through stakeholder meetings and consultations
Conduct field surveys of communities, flora, and fauna to support research and conservation efforts
Prepare project documents, including proposals, progress reports, and publications
Lead and support community engagement activities, such as school awareness and outreach initiatives, as assigned by the management
