The Institute is actively engaged in research across the breadth of the country on biodiversity related issues.

Job Description:

Candidates will be responsible for coordination of the project work, and support in implementation of various activities. The candidate should also handle the other projects where the subject expertise is required.

Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience:

• Four Years Bachelor’s Degree (4 year B.Sc. degree as per National Education Policy) in Natural Sciences (Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Ecology/ Marine Sciences / Marine Biology/ Environmental Sciences/ Geoinformatics/ Life Sciences)/ Agricultural/ Forestry Sciences from recognized institute/ University  

                                          OR  

• Master’s Degree in Natural Sciences (Wildlife Science/ Zoology/ Ecology/ Marine Sciences / Marine Biology/ Environmental Sciences/ Geoinformatics/ Life Sciences)/ Agricultural Sciences from recognized institute/ University

Desirable Qualification(s)

• Research Experience in R&D in Industrials or Science & Technology Institutions or Scientific activities and Services, excellent writing skills and strength in science communication and publications on wildlife research would be desirable.

Salary

37,000 + HRA (NET or GATE qualified candidates or selection process through national level examinations) 30,000 + HRA (For non-NET or non-GATE qualified candidates)
