We are currently seeking the services of a seasoned Drupal Reource (individual/company) to join our team. The Resource (individual/company)  will serve as the chief technology consultant, assisting with the design, development, and implementation of changes to the portal related websites, including graphics and functionality. The resource in this role will work as part of the content management team, including other content management staff, to meet the technology needs of a broad array of India Water Portal and Arghyam.

The Drupal Resource (individual/company) will:

• • Work with other team members to maintain websites of India Water Portal which is based on Drupal.
  • Create/edit blocks, views, pages, panels and minipanels
  • Install/uninstall/update/configure necessary Drupal modules
  • Make small changes to the Drupal themes - Use of PHP script, xHTML, JavaScript, JQuery and CSS is required.
  • Apply patches and upgrades related to Drupal.
  • Troubleshoot and remedy website problems.

Qualifications

• • Two years of experience using Druapl including the use of xHTML,CSS, PHP and MySQL/PostGres.
  • Good knowledge of the complete website design cycle, including designing, developing, and administering websites.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in website architecture, design, implementation, and maintenance;

Notes

This is a part time appointment. The expected work load is around 10 person hours per week. There will not be any work related to building new Drupal modules or themes. The job is not about content upload but about providing the relevant techincal support to the people who upload the content on the portal.
