The Water Awards are proposed for the following four categories so as to recognise efforts and build up a database of sustainable models across various sectors:

• Category 1: Industrial Water Efficiency
• Category 2: Community Initiatives by Industry
• Category 3: Innovation in Water Technology
• Category 4: Water Initiatives by NGO
