Bihar State Water And Sanitation Mission (BSWSM) is the supreme body for implementation of Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation Programme in the State.

Purpose of Assignment :- To Provide assistance for the planning, execution and evaluation of IEC activities for the various programmes under WSSO at district leve.

Duty Station: District headquarter, with travel within district/ outside district as needed.

Supervisor: Executive Engineer cum Member Secretary, DWSC (District Water & Sanitation Committee).

Job description :

• Compiling and evaluating technical, institutional, financial & regulatory information and best practices at district/ Block level pertinent to the sector and assisting DWSC and best disseminating that which is most relevant.
• Assisting in preparation of manual, documents, etc.
• Advice DWSC in providing technical assistance to districts by drawing on resources of Technical experts and by mobilization suitable agencies with necessary skills for planning & implement of IEC activities under TSC/NRDWP.
• Visiting block / Panchayats for review and technical guidance and providing reports of IEC activities.
• Preparation of Annual/ Quarterly/ Monthly IEC activities plan & Monitor implementation & support improvement for consideration of DWSC.
• Any other task entrusted by the Director WSSO/DWSC.
