Position: Program Officer, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)

Educational Qualification: Post Graduate / Graduate with an overall experience of 5 -6 years and relevant to WASH must be more than 2 years of experience.

Organisation: Centre for Microfinance (CmF), Jaipur is a resource organization working in Rajasthan since 2007 to catalyze the growth of community based microfinance and livelihoods sector in the state.

Job Profile: CmF is looking for an energetic, sincere, hardworking and skilled professional to lead the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) component under Transformation Initiative. Broad focus under WASH component would be to:

1. ensure supply of safe drinking water to all households in 400 villages,
2. seek convergence with the government departments/programmes for drinking water provision and construction of toilets,
3. planning and implementation of a Behaviour Change Communication Strategy for tribal households for achieving Open Defecation Free (ODF) villages,
4. bring in technological innovations for achieving quality, cost efficiencies and sustainability of interventions,
5. conceptualize and support community management of all interventions and integration with other project components of microfinance, livelihoods, education and health and nutrition.
