The issues of climate change, water and energy are central to any attempt for bridging the gap between “developed” and “developing” nations. These three critical issues have thus far been addressed in isolation from one other, in countries like India. A study of the three-way dynamic relationship between these three issues is necessary to develop national policies which meet India’s development objectives in a sustainable manner.

In purview of this, The Energy & Resources Institute is organizing a two day (April 17-18, 2012) workshop on climate change, water, energy nexus in India, to deliberate on opportunities and challenges for dovetailing the administrative mechanisms and policy framework existing presently. The outcomes from the workshop will help in development of a plan of adaptation which may be capable of streamlining their governance structure.

With your experience on the subject, we cordially invite you for the participating in the workshop and enrich the deliberations during the course of workshop. Your insights to the topic would be valuable.

Workshop will happen in Casurina Hall, India Habitat Center, New Delhi. Registration is free of cost. But prior intimation is expected.

We would appreciate if you could send a line of confirmation of your participation.
