I am pleased to inform you that Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University , Aurangabad in collaboration with kCube, Chennai is planning to organize Training Program on Open Source GIS – Quantum/GRASS GIS. In light of utility of geospatial tools in all fields of sustainable management of resources, GIS has become one of the indispensable tools for studies, research and policy framework. The cost of the available software and skilled manpower are among the major hurdles to use such tools. The Open Source GIS software’s is one of the most convenient ways to overcome such issues.
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University with kCube plans to organize 5 day interactive Training Program on Quantum/GRASS GIS. This will provide a structure route to spatial and non-spatial database generation, management, analysis and decision making.
