Some water stories never make the headlines. They live in mountain springs, village ponds, pipes and in the everyday lives of the people who depend on them.

Over the past year, we worked with 5 storytellers to follow these quieter journeys of water across the country. Reporting in English and Hindi from Jammu & Kashmir, Meghalaya, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar, they traced how water shapes communities, cultures, and local realities.
