Description:
ELRS is organizing a workshop in New Delhi, on 27 and 28 July 2012, to consider issues relating to the realization of the right to sanitation in India, and invites submission of abstracts.

Topics:

• Right to Sanitation
• Social Aspects of Sanitation [such as caste, untouchability, manual scavenging, sewage workers]
• Environmental Aspects of Sanitation [such as water pollution, land pollution, public health]

The abstracts must be in English or Hindi (500 words maximum) and it must summarise briefly the scope and content of the paper proposed. The abstract must include the author(s)’ title, affiliation, email and mailing address. All abstracts must be submitted electronically to the below mentioned email address with the subject ‘Right to Sanitation Workshop - July 2012’.

The workshop will be centered on the written papers sent in advance by participants.

All papers presented at the workshop will be published in the workshop proceedings, provided they are received by the date for submission of final papers. In addition, all authors may submit their papers for inclusion in a peer-reviewed publication. Detailed information on paper publication will be provided to authors of accepted papers.

Notification for Acceptance: April 15, 2012
Deadline for Registration: June 1, 2012
Submission of Final Papers: June 30, 2012
