A Kirloskar and Vasundhara Club initiative, Kirloskar Vasundhara International Film Festival (KVIFF) is an festival that is being organized for the past 5 years in Pune. Kirloskar Vasundhara is an innovative attempt to explore nature and analyze topical issues related to environment, wildlife, energy, air and water.
The festival showcases a variety of films each year. It includes short films, feature films and documentaries from 25 different countries.The festival has been organised in association with non-governmental organisations Pugmarks and Go Wild, the state forest department and Sanctuary Asia. The festival will subsequently travel to 25 cities in seven states.
This year KVIFF is planning to screen more than 110 films on different topics such as saving biodiversity, Indian vista, wild life, space, ocean, water, habitat, protected areas, issue based, climate change and wild life.
Focus: This year's focus will be 'Sustainable Lifestyle'. Need to preserve, protect, save biodiversity of globe, India, Western Ghats, Maharashtra & Pune
