Bandlaguda, Hyderabad:

Birla Open Minds International School (BOMIS), Bandlaguda, successfully organized Water Conservation Week on the occasion of Jal Pakhwada, reinforcing the importance of sustainable water practices among students.

The week-long initiative featured a series of engaging activities and competitions aimed at spreading awareness about water conservation. Students from Grade 7 to Grade 10 enthusiastically participated in poster making on the theme “Save Water, Save Life”, elocution,

and essay writing on “Water Conservation – My Role as a Student”. The event also included a rally and a pledge-taking ceremony, encouraging students to adopt responsible habits for conserving water.

The activities provided a platform for students to express their ideas creatively while understanding the critical role they play in protecting natural resources.

Speaking on the occasion, the Principal, Ms. Nishi Rana, said, “At BOMIS Bandlaguda, we believe in nurturing environmentally responsible citizens. Through such initiatives, our students not only learn the value of water conservation but also become proactive contributors towards building a sustainable future.”

The initiative aimed to instill the importance of water conservation, cleanliness, health, and civic responsibility among students, encouraging them to take meaningful steps towards a greener and more sustainable tomorrow.
