Development Alternatives (DA) is a research organization and it has a focus on innovation and policy outreach. DA is engaged in a research study sponsored by India Water Partnership (IWP) - “Knowledge Dialogue on Integrated Domestic Water Management-Preparation of Compendium and Status paper”. The overall objective of this study is to influence National Water Policy which governs the management of water resources in India with a view to incorporate aspects of Integrated Domestic Water Management (IDWM) in the semi arid and arid regions of India.

The project involves a stakeholder’s workshop to act as a platform for knowledge sharing on the experiences and analysis with a peer group of experts as well as stakeholders from the arid and semi arid region. This workshop will provide a forum to bring forth varied perspectives to the existing situations with regard to IDWM. This will help in brainstorming as well as identifying a direction for policy and institutional support leading towards revision and modification of analytical framework, the indicators of the study and identification of case studies.
