The Institution of Engineers (India), A P State Centre, heralded by Energy Conservation Mission (ECM) is organizing a Two Day National Seminar on "Save Water & Preserve Climate" on December 28th & 29th, 2011.

The Seminar provides a common platform for the expert engineers and professionals to share their views to fulfill the objectives of the National Water Mission to ensure the availability of water to one and all in the future and protection of environment. The Seminar offers excellent opportunities to the participant organizations to enhance their knowledge and understanding about water to face the challenges posed by climate change. This will not only help in the conservation of water in the National/Global interest but, also improve their, own sustainability.

The Seminar is expected to be attended by experts and officials from Central and State Government bodies, regulatory authorities, utilities, industry, project developers, financial institutions etc. Interested participants from these organizations as well as academic, research, consultancy organizations and all those who wish to participate are welcome to register and attend the event.

Call for papers:

Technical Papers will be invited (relevant to the theme of the Seminar) from Key Researchers and Professors from Universities and Institutions. Technical Papers will also be invited from Engineers/Executives /Managers of Water Resources departments, Equipment Manufacturers, Engineering Consultants etc. The Technical Events Committee will scrutinize the technical papers. The authors of selected papers will be invited to present their papers during the allotted slots. However, all the technical papers relevant to the theme of the Seminar will be published in the technical volume or released as a CD/DVD during the Seminar.
