Objective:

The training aims at introducing the concept and methodology of citywide sanitation plans, with an inclusive approach as proposed under the NUSP. This unique training programme is designed for city managers, urban/regional planners, urban development professionals, decision makers/officials of urban development departments, urban local bodies, agencies engaged in urban service delivery, researchers, academics as well as professionals working with international/national funding organisations and NGOs/CBOs.

Interactive sessions, analysis of case studies and hands-on training will be provided by an experienced training team from CDD, BORDA and practising urban planners representing a good balance between academics and practitioners. CDD Society has been involved in the preparation of a number of CSPs and is now also involved in the implementation in several cities.

Training fee: 

Rs. 18,000/- only. The training fee includes boarding, lodging, training kit and local travel during the training. Certificates of participation will be awarded to the participants on successful completion of the training course.

As the seats are limited, CDD Society will screen and select the most eligible applicants.
