"Well worth the change", is a case study written by Vinita Deshmukh in June 2006, about the work of a team of youngsters from Pune, who were stirred by a media campaign, and launched an effort to help villagers avoid the scramble for water at wells. Well-lined tanks and a simple pipeline reduced the loss of water, and literally brought the water supply to villagers' doorsteps.
