Organisation: DACAAR Main responsibilities include: * strategic development of the Water and Sanitation Programme (WSP) vision, policies and strategies * networking, advocacy, and soliciting contracts with government and donors * expanding the role of WSP in the national WatSan sector in terms of technology development, quality control, information technology, capacity building, operation and maintenance, and the development of national implementation strategies for installing sustainable rural drinking water systems Requirements include: * an educational background in natural resource management or rural development * minimum of 10 years' experience in top managerial/advisory posts * a minimum of 4 years' work experience in the field of Water and Sanitation, preferably in a managerial position * fluency in written and spoken English. Knowledge of Dari/Pashto an advantage. The post will be for one year, with the possibility of extension.
