The report prepared by Arid Communities and Technologies (ACT) Kutch, Gujarat on behalf of Sahajeevan Trust aims to prepare a guideline for groundwater legislation to protect drinking water sources in the taluka.

It contains detailed research data and maps about the Abadasa taluk, on various parameters like demographic (human population, livestock, occupations, amenities), climatic, physiography and drainage, geology and the groundwater situation (aquifer, monitoring, water level, water quality).

The report also contains socio-technical analysis along various parameters and presents them in the form of color-graded maps, discusses the emerging issues related to drinking water in the taluk and contains interviews with several experts on the subject.
