How SGWISS could support the Rainwater Harvesting? 

The main source of sweet water is Rain, but the water available from the rain is not regular and uniformly spread throughout year. So the rainwater could be stored by any method in rain. When the rainwater is stored on the surface but there would not be sufficient capacities of structures developed for the rainwater harvesting. Little quantity of the rainwater is recharged in the subsurface and underground.

If maximum rain water is required to recharge, then the strata of the area could be studied. The site having capacity of storage maximum quantity of rainwater harvesting  could be selected only after geophysical and hydro geological study.

If the upper surface of the rainwater harvesting structure is compact and not permeable then there should be drilled up to the depth of the permeable strata to let the water recharge itself in maximum quantity. 

Maximum quantity of water for domestic and agricultural as well as other use are making available from underground by dug wells and bore wells. The pin points for the wells could be considered by geophysical and hydro geological study to get maximum quantity of groundwater at minimum cost. Thus the application of Scientific Ground Water Investigation Services Survey(SGWISS) is very Important to solve the problem of water.
