Himanshu Raj and Neelam VermaThis presentation by Himanshu Raj and Neelam Verma of Malviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur draws upon traditional and modern concepts of water harvesting. They have designed a system of water management that provides water for use in the hostel block and for campus landscaping.

Additional water that cannot be stored is recharged into the ground, close to the borewell. Considering the water scarcity in the region a xeriscaping plan has been presented. The design also integrates a solar powered waste water treatment system, which can augment the supply for use in campus landscaping.
