CSR meets Sanitation

In a bid to take the lofty goals of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan a step closer to realization, IndiaCSR, the country's leading CSR networking platform, brings together various stakeholders in the sanitation segment in their inaugural toilet summit to be held in New Delhi.

With eminent speakers both from the social as well as the corporate sector, the summit is expected to touch upon important topics such as gender sensitive toilet construction, human rights and the toilet movement and also clarify the socio-cultural aspects of toilet usage in the country today.

Engaging policymakers and practitioners

Sessions will focus on policy aspects related to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals, role of the government and non governmental agencies as well as the need for motivated leadership to take the movement forward. Attention will also be paid to the importance of advocacy and communications in bringing about a change in attitudes and practices.
