Water security is a fundamental requirement for the sustainable development and poverty alleviation. In the International Decade for Action 'Water for Life', Government of India has launched 'Bharat Nirman' yojana, which includes provision of safe drinking water.
DAE-CSIR program envisages deployment of technologies developed by their labs in a reliable and sustainable manner to achieve these objectives. The implementation involves synergistic participation of DAE-CSIR laboratories, executing agencies and users each with financial contribution and commitment to ensure self-sustenance preferably with a multiplier effect.
The technologies developed by DAE & CSIR are available at the website and are available for technology transfer to entrepreneurs on a chargeable basis. For setting up and sustaining the facility, Public Private Partnership may also be considered.Technologies Available: Technology Page
Expression of Interest (EOI) is requested from the interested Groups/ Institutions indicating name of the company /participating agency, brief description on the nature of engagement in providing drinking water, technical credentials (including owned technologies), experience, financial credentials and references.
