This programme focuses on alternative decentralized wastewater treatment technologies, and explores the current water and sewage management status of Indian cities and planning, designing, implementation and monitoring of the localized wastewater treatment systems. The programme's media of instruction include hands-on training, interactive seminars, detailed case studies, film shows, field trips and classroom lectures. Participants would be theoretically equipped to design localized wastewater treatment systems in a variety of situations and localities.
