Citizen's uprising against encroachment and pollution of Ram Nadi, an urban river in Pune, MaharashtraThey are  demanding that the Pune Municipal Corporation remove illegal encroachments along and from the river urgently, before the monsoon.

During the last monsoon and post monsoon rains in 2010-11, Ram Nadi faced unprecedented floods, causing huge damage to life and property along the area.

The attached pamphlet (in Marathi) gives a precise idea of the activities from 25th April 2011 onwards.
