The awards act as a stage to promote role models achieved by businesses in promoting sustainability. It also imparts knowledge for capacity building activities by Indian Businesses to adopt sustainability practices. The Awards are administered and presented by the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development an institution that creates a conducive, enabling climate for Indian businesses to pursue sustainability goals.
