A one day seminar is being organised to share the main findings of these studies with the following objectives:

• To share the trends in the public financing of social sectors in Karnataka
• To link public expenditure on these social sectors with parameters of equity, efficiency and effectiveness, and their policy implications 
• To understand the governance issues in the PRIs and ULBs in service delivery through the budget window
• To deliberate on the potential role of Local governments in the public service delivery
• To receive feedback on our on-going research studies and generate discussions on the issues of public service delivery in social sector
