Hi,

We have a borewell which we use for domestic purposes only. I want to recharge the ground water by harvesting the rainwater into a 9 feet deep pit.

We do not have much space around the borewell and the only place avaliable is 7-8 feet from the borewell. My question is: will the water from the RWH pit recharge my bore when it is 7-8 feet apart. Is the distace too much?

Please let me know your thoughts on this.
