We have 7 feet septic tank with cement rings fitted but the base is not cemented . We have a 35 feet well with circular fitted rock sides. The well and the septic tank are 6 metres away from each other. Currently the septic tank is not in use but I would like to know if the water from the well would get contaminated if the septic tank is put to use?
