I am looking for an iron removal solution for the whole house. When I tested the well water I found that Iron levels is 0.33 mg /L, bi-carbonate 89.67 mg /L and sulphate is 33 mg /L . I have attached the full report. At present I am using a sand filter in the over-head water tank, but this gets clogged frequently ( especially during summer) and cleaning it is not easy due to the difficulty in accessing the tank. I use a 1 hp motor for drawing water from the well.

Recently I found the advertisement of a private agency and they suggested a filter ( with backwash) which costs Rs 20000. I would like to know whether there are any alternative/better solutions.
