Hello Sir,

Recently I had dug a borewell for 300 ft in Chennai. I did not see any water splashing out during digging process. But in the evening when I dropped a stone, I could here water splashing inside. So I continually watched the water level for next 4 days and following is the observation:

I would want to know, how can we measure daily capacity of the borewell? Is it sufficient for domestic purpose ? Is it sufficient for construction works ? Please help.
