Dear Concern, We want to set up an water production unit only for 20 Ltr, Jars. Kindly advice whether BIS certification is mandatory for the Same ? If yes, kindly advice the approximate cost for the same if we want to set up the unit in Kolkata , West Bengal From a Local Newspaper we got to know that BSI (https://www.bsigroup.com/en-IN/) certification can suffice our purpose for 20 ltr jars ONLY. Kindly advice whether this is an authentic source or not. Awaiting your kind response.
