Hi,

My name is Gabriel Grunthaler and I am a student at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, Germany. I am trying to do some research on beverage can recycling and deposit schemes around the world, but especially with India it's very hard to find any information.

I was wondering if you could help me or at least refer me to someone who might be able to.

My main questions:

1. Is there a deposit refund scheme in India? For example one would pay a couple of rupees extra when buying a beverage and receive those rupees back upon return of the container...
2. How does beverage can recycling work in India? Are cans gathered on the streets?
