‘International Certification Programme on Management of Public Private Partnerships in the Urban Water and Sanitation Sector’ 

"11th January 2010 to 15th January 2010" for the India component and "18th January 2010 to 22nd January 2010" for the international component in Morocco.

The programme comprises two components – an India component at ASCI, Hyderabad (11-15 January 2010) followed by an international component in Rabat and Tangiers, Morocco (18-22 January 2010). 

The programme is introduced in response to the capacity building needs of governments for effective management of PPPs. It offers an opportunity to professionalize urban managers and equip them with the new competencies required to enhance and sustain municipal service delivery through public private partnerships. This programme gains importance in the context of implementation of JnNURM and viability gap funding (VGF) scheme of Government of India.

The programme will offer a unique learning environment through interactive sessions with academicians and global and national experts and practitioners  and exposure to  national and international projects and simulation exercises.

The programme features an international field visit to Rabat and Tangiers in Morocco to gain exposure to all aspects of PPP projects in the context of municipal service delivery with focus on the water and sanitation sectors.
