Nominations  are open now for the 7th Manthan Award 2010 supported by Govt. of India's Department of Information Technology.

As you are aware, Manthan Award is an unique award to recognise the best practices which use ICT tools in all sectors like business, health, agriculture, entertainment, culture, governance, rural development, and so on.

In the last seven years we have built-up a database of almost 2000 Best practices and an exclusive network of 12,000+ stakeholders like government officials, practitioners, innovators, application developers, academics, policy makers, industry players and investors on one platform to accelerate bottom-up revolution in India.

All the year around, we actively encourage all supporters, enthusiasts, nominees and partners of Manthan Award to come together through various channels at Digital Empowerment Foundation (http://defindia.net/) to replicate success stories all over South Asia. Please feel to share with us your projects that help solve a specific problem OR create opportunities to improve the quality of life of people using ICT Tools in one or more regions in South Asia.
