The journal ENVIRONMENTAL AND EARTH SCIENCES RESEARCH JOURNAL will publish a special edition covering the topic of innovative technologies for safe water globally. Technologies in developing countries are especially encouraged. Specifically related, but not limited to, are the targets set forth by the U.N. Sustainable Development Knowledge Platform, topic #6, Clean Water and Sanitation. The Special Edition is a way to assist United Nations and other organizations’ efforts to provide sanitary water sources for the world.

Scholars in relevant fields such as earth sciences or environmental engineering are welcome to contribute their research in this area. Manuscripts may be sent by email to editor.eesrj@iieta.org or submit your script on the journal’s website. No fees will be for manuscript processing or publication.

Note: Many authors are reluctant to publish unexpected results or failed experiments, however, this type of reporting are encouraged, as it is also an essential part of the scientific method. Knowing what doesn’t work is equally as important as knowing what works, and this knowledge should be shared among researchers globally in the interest of further advancement.
