Supreme Court judgement on interlinking of rivers

The Supreme Court of India’s recent judgement on the interlinking of rivers project, asking the Government to go ahead with implementation, has raised concerns among prominent experts, concerned citizens and neighbouring countries who have urged the Court to put the order on hold and reconsider the matter.

India Water Portal requests its readers to give their feedback on the pros and cons of this gigantic proposal, which is estimated to cost the exchequer Rs 560,000 crores.
