Central Water Commission (CWC) and ISRO have launched a GIS-based Water Resources Information System on World Water Day 2012. This is meant to be a comprehensive solution for accessing data on water in India.
India Water Portal requests its readers to register on the WRIS Portal to get updates and full access, and give their feedback.
