The Forum for Policy Dialogue on Water Conflicts in India (Forum to be brief), the National Law University Delhi (NLUD), National Green Tribunal, Delhi and Environment Law Research Society (ELRS), Delhi are jointly organising a two day training programme titled “Water conflicts in India: Legal and Institutional Framework for Conflict Prevention and Resolution” at National Law University Delhi (NLUD).

The proposed training is aimed at practising lawyers and judges and also civil society activists in the water sector, who need to engage with legal issues. The underlying idea is to ensure that there exists a broader pool of people in the profession who are aware of the complexity of issues in water law and are ready to apply principles and concepts that exist in the legal framework for water conflict resolution and prevention. The attached note would give you more information on the background, objectives, content and the organising institutions.

The last date for application is 24th August, 2015.
