Pablo Solón is an Executive Director of 'Focus on the Global South' based in Bangkok. He is the former Ambassador of Bolivia to the United Nations and former Bolivian Chief Negotiator for climate change in UNFCCC. A sociologist and economist, Pablo was active in Bolivia's social movements before entering government, and is an expert on the issues of trade, integration, natural resources and water.

CMS is committed to promoting a better and deeper understanding of Marxism and the history of class struggle. The Centre organises lectures, seminars, study circles, residential schools and will publish Marxist literature etc.
