Climate change exhibition in New Delhi : Technology development and transfer

The two-day Conference & Exhibition will open with a high-level ministerial segment inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India. This will offer a unique opportunity to the developed and the developing countries to offer their climate-friendly technologies and services as also to showcase effective solutions appropriate to the developing countries.

  of the conference is to promote international technology development and transfer in the context of the Bali Action Plan for enhancement of longterm cooperation for implementation of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

• To evolve mechanisms f o r international technology cooperation and collaboration.

• To advance understanding on key actions needed to accelerate technology development and transfer in all countries in accordance with their national needs.

All the government delegates from member states of the United Nations, and others belonging to NGOs, multilateral and bilateral organizations, donor agencies, research organizations and other international organisations are not required to pay the registration fee.
