The 3rd National Summit on Sustainable Water and Sanitation comes to Bangalore on 18th and 19th January 2018

The third national summit of Nispana in Bengaluru will address the latest and the most pertinent issues related to sustainable water supply and sanitation.

India is the second most populous country in the world, with more than one billion citizens. 163 million people lack access to safe water and 210 million people lack access to improved sanitation. With the per capita availability of water continuing to decline, the nation hurtles towards water scarcity.

Sustainable water supply and sanitation is a very important issue due to increasing water scarcity, the impact of climate change and adaptation, and the increasing demand for water and competition among different usages. Nispana’s third Annual Sustainable water & Sanitation Summit 2018 scheduled on January 18 and 19, 2018 in Bengaluru, India will address the latest and most pertinent water issues like urban water management, river restoration, lake rejuvenation, smart water management, in addition to sustainable solutions for sanitation and an exclusive on faecal sludge management.
