Water quality status of all river basins are available. Parameters like BOD, COD, Total Coliform, Faecal Coliform, Disolved Oxygen are measured. Data from 1995 to 2007 is given in bar charts and tables. Medium and Small canals, lakes, and ponds water quality status is also included. Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) has established a network of monitoring stations on rivers across the country. Data is obtained from 1245 stations in 27 States and 6 Union Territories.
