A paper from the Indian Journal of Clinical Biochemistry. Hydride generator accessory coupled with atomic absorption spectrophotometer was used to study the arsenic levels in the groundwaters of Delhi. The Arsenic levels in the groundwater samples range from 0.0170 to 0.100 ppm. The conclusion made from the study was that the arsenic containing sediments and percolation of chemicals in to the soils as the result of dumping of garbage rich in chemicals into open landfills could be the possible source of Arsenic in the groundwater resources of Delhi.
