Watershed Development - Take Action

• The Samaj Pragati Sahyog has created a Watershed Works Manual for use in the implementation of the National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (NREGA). The earthen watershed structures have been prioritized under NREGA. The manual demystifies watershed development activities by explaining the steps in great detail, and the scientific basis for the procedures adopted. The Manual would be very useful guide and a ready reckoner for Non-Governmental Organizations interested in undertaking watershed development.
