Resources on Polavaram (Indira Sagar) dam

The Polavaram project on the river Godavari in AP is in the news due to the rejection of the evironmental impact assessment and the subsequent stay on the rejection by the court.

    godavari has plenty of water resources. but i really don’t understand why the project is so delayed in name of permissions . though our CM ysr
    trying hard for it.we get lots of benefits from it for crores of people living and benefits hundreds of people must sacreifice their lifes.
    just like freedom movement. that’s the indian culture.
