    Dear Sanjay,

    Thank you for this mail.

Such mails should be sent to all Indians who are ignorant of this issue. It is important to make aware of this issue. I have personally seen the wastage of water in my company. I had worked with Red cross and other NGOs who educated me about this and till today i religously follow them.

Strong and immediate action should be taken on this.

GREAT to see such important message….i am wondering for whom they have been made except the first one. WITHOUT doubt the message is precious and URGENT but IF we want so called “DEVELOPING” countries to be aware- we need more than mere ENGLISH poster. cuturally water is GOD…and there for there are other ways to address the ISSUE at hand.

    Hi!
The four posters of UNDP convey strong messages which are need of the hour. The pictoral could have been visualised in the back drop of message written, then it would have been more comprehensive and driving the content powerfully. We congratuate UNDP for disseminating water literacy.

    Adieu.

    Dear Sir / Madam,

I am Rajkumar working as a Project Executive in DHAN Foundation. I went through the poster and i have given some of my comments below.

All the posters are having crucial information. It makes the readers to sensitize the situation. If these posters include the human presence / struggle, I feel it’s the impact and reach would have been double.

The sentence “To put water on everyone’s lips” is attractive and makes the readers to visit the website.

  42. Manoj Patani on March 24th, 2008 3:36 pm

    Hi everyone,

Feel heartedly very good, the way people of our country coming forward to save & utilise water.
i am also working with many NGO’s i.e.Street childrens, Mentally retarded,Scholl going(those who do not get 1time food alongwith books etc),Friends of Nature Associations,Greenpeace India.
I think we need to come forward with tree plantation since everywhere if we see lots of concrete schemes, express ways & other modernisation sources are heading up & for the same copncern authorities are cutting trees which affects environment resulting in water->atmosphere->Health etc… If u find avrious surveys due to increase in CO2 level, lot of patients everywhere suffering from Asthma related and stomach related diseases.

All we what can do is let’s spread awareness thru. Schools, Colleges,, Institutions by way of contacting to the various educational, Professional,& service institutions & govt. sectors etc..& request everyone to plant a tree at least every month.E-mail is one of the short-cut to reach people and for others they can give there memberships to the agencies who working individually i.e.Greenpeace, FONA etc..

I am expecting emails from all the way in future also.

    Thanks to Website.

    Dear sir
As drinking water is down so what should we do?
Due to globle warming sea water level is incresing. As i saw in news that sea coast states will sink in the water.

  48. Akash on June 23rd, 2008 12:52 pm

What do u do if the government authority is openly wasting huge amounts of water ?

At the toll collection of NHAI on NH-24 Gurgaon Border there is a Tube well guzzling out huge amounts of water down the drain throughout the day. Only for a few minutes does the water tanker comes to fill water and 99% of the time its watering the plants or helping the labor in luxury bathing.

    Any ideas ?
